MP3 and WMA audio support with various equalizer settings can be played through high clarity earphone output or the built-in speaker. And of course, like its predecessor, the V-Touch Pro can also display all your favorite pictures in JPEG, GIF or BMP format. The V-Touch Pro still has its built-in 3-in-1 camera, recording still photos, videos and, when connected to your computer via USB, it functions as a webcam.Other features include an FM Radio (with presets and internal recording), Voice Recorder, E-Book Reader and Calendar. The unit also works as a USB Flash Drive, with large, internal flash memory. 4Pretty cool  Oct 28, 2010 By Louie316
I just got my v-touch pro a few days ago. so far i really like it. here are a few of the pros and cons.

Cons: really light, feels kinda cheap and like it could break real easily. it froze on me once and i don't know why but it happened when i unplugged it from the charger while it was playing music and it just froze. all i had to do to fix this was push the little reset button on the back of the player and it hasn't frozen again yet. the radio on it is ok, you can hear the fuzziness if the headphones and player aren't in exactly the right position but other than that, its great. on the touch screen, you sometimes have to press a little harder and sometimes a little above or below the button you want to press. these are just small things that i noticed with the player that aren't a major problem so it doesn't bother me too much.

Pros: the speaker is great. i read a different review for this player in a different color and they said that when the volume was all the way up they could still barely hear the music. somethin must'v just been messed up on their player or somethin because if i turn mine all the way up and leave it in my living room, i can walk downstairs across the basement and still hear it. the video quality is pretty good too if you download videos to it. the camera is alright, i found out its only a 2mp but its still cool to have. basically the player is just awesome with the few exceptions i already told you about. i would recommend this to a friend.

4Useful, affordable, handy  Oct 29, 2010 By sunshine gardener
My husband bought mine for me at Fry's in June 2010, but Amazon now has this Visual Land V-Touch Pro 8 GB 3.2-Inch Touch Screen MP3 player with Camera (Black) with Free Super Saver Shipping, so I thought I would offer my 2 cents to the reviews for the Visual Land V-Touch 8GB.

This summer, I took an intensive foreign language course, and I needed an affordable rechargable MP3 audio player/recorder that I could use to record my teacher reading aloud to us. The record function on this unit worked really well for that purpose. I would place the unit on my teacher's desk in front of him, and the sound quality was surprisingly clear. I was able to upload the MP3 files to my computer and email them to my classmates so that we could practice reading and use our teacher's pronunciation as a model. This was useful to us because part of our final exam was to read aloud to our teacher, and he scored us on pronunciation and fluency.

Besides the record function, I also use the audio MP3 player on a daily basis to listen to music as I walk my dog. I use my own headphones because I don't like the in-ear type headphones that came with this unit.

I also use the USB cable to recharge the unit every night by hooking it up to my computer. That is really handy and economical. I used to have a different little MP3 player that ate up AAA batteries really quickly and was always going dead.

I haven't used the camera or video features.

BTW, the manual is a pdf file on the unit, and I haven't had any need to use that because the unit is fairly user-friendly. However, I did keep the original packaging because there are some very brief but handy instructions that come inside the packaging. I recently had to follow the reset instructions when the touchscreen got a little unresponsive. After I followed reset and recalibrate steps, the touchscreen was responsive and reliable again.

If you are on a tight budget, this is a handy, affordable combo unit. I see that Amazon also has a 16 GB unit that doesn't cost much more than the 8 GB. Visual Land V-Touch 16 GB Video MP3 Player with 2.8-Inch Touchscreen and 2-Megapixel Camera (Black)

I haven't dropped it, so I cannot make any comment as to its hardiness. However, I have used mine extensively since June 2010 with no problems, so I am very happy with it.

Cheers!

5Wonderful product!!!  Jun 15, 2011 By godsprincess
I got this item faster than expected!!! The product came in really good condition and works perfectly as long as you don't hold down the power button longer than needed. If you do, you will erase everything on it!!! I love the touch screen though this is the first item that I own that has touch screen!! Once you get used to how much pressure you need for the screen, you can navigate through the playlist in no time. For those who don't like touch screen, you can use the buttons and then use the touch when needed. But most of the time, you can do just about everything with the buttons. You will need to make sure that the screen stays clean so that the touch screen will work because if there is dirt or grime, it will make the touch screen harder to sense that you are touching it.This item works perfectly and I love the volume settings on it because if I wear the headphones, I only put it on 2 compared to 13 if I am working in the garden and can't hear it as well. Oh by the way,it goes to 32 for the sound level so you that are deaf, you will be able to hear it!! I have never turned it up even to see how loud it can go because it hurt my ears at 26!! The sound quality is pretty good seeing that its an mp3 player!!

5great product  Jun 16, 2011 By Brian
When I bought this item, it was cheap, which made me think it can't be a good machine. Well I ordered it and it is great. Unlike other music players, this one puts all of the songs sung by one artist together. The video quality is really great. The battery can feel like it dies all of the time, but it does not.

Update: Mine broke, but only because my sisters dog chewed it and he broke the screen, it worked for a while and then he got it again and it was done.
