User Experience Undermines Features and Price Jun 16, 2009

You pay for what you get, but I did not even get my money's worth with this music player. Navigating the menus is very difficult; which is made worse by the fact that it takes the player forever to respond when you press a button (up to 10 seconds). Did I mention that navigating the menus suck. You can't play music and navigate your music folder at the same time. You can only shuffle songs that are within a folder, and a folder can only hold up to 100 songs. If your library is organized by album, you can only shuffle songs in that album. This player uses a USB 1.0 connection. USB 1.0 takes 10 times longer than USB 2.0, which most music players have. It took 3 hours to put 2.6 GB on the player. Thus, I never want to put music, photos, and especially movies on this player. This player sounded too good to be true, because it offers so many features at a low price. However, the software and components of this music player render those features unusable to all but the most patient, persistent users. I also use an old iPod classic and a Sansa Clip. Both players are leagues beyond the V-Bop in user experience. Avoid this product. This player is not a deal at any price.

V-Bop May 04, 2009
By C. Wescott Overall a nice MP3 player with regard to sound & size.
Only negative, which is a big negative since I bought this player for my young daughter is that the menu system isn't like other MP3 players for selecting music. It lacks music selection by genre, artist, album. In fact the menu selection for music in folders is more like accessing your hard drive the old DOS way. In order to step back up the tree of menus you have to enter on the "\" in the menu tree.
It also lacks a Playlist or the ability to randomly play all your music on the Player.
Only if the menu selection feature were to be upgraded would I consider buying another on like this.
Grandson loves it Feb 28, 2009

I got this for my 11 year-old grandson and he opened it up and immediately started using it. Had no trouble with downloading songs but not quite sure about the videos. Still working on that. Wish it had more instructions.
