 Works well enough for the price, but ... Nov 30, 2010

I haven't tried the car-charger piece yet, as I have another iPod charger that I leave in the car. I purchased this item so that I could have a plug-in charger available whenever I needed one, instead of having to keep my iPod at my computer to charge with the sync cable. I repeatedly get a "Charging is not supported with this accessory" warning while my iPod Touch 3G is plugged in, and the battery indicator on the iPod doesn't register that it's being charged. However, the percentage of battery left does go up, which means it IS being charged. The biggest issue I have with this item is that the charge is unbearably slow. I left my iPod plugged in overnight and didn't get a full charge (which only takes about 2 hours with the original sync/charge cable from Apple) -- I don't know whether this is an inherent limitation of the charger itself or the fact that it doesn't sit firmly in electrical outlets (and thus may only be receiving intermittent current). Also, the cable itself is pretty short, so it's not very useful if you want to charge your device while using it ... unless you want to lay on the floor next to the outlet. :D

Simply put, this is a great product and an amazing deal. Works exactly as described. The retractable cord is a nice touch, only downside is that it's a very short cord, two feet at the very most. Small price to pay though for being able to plug your ipod in to a wall outlet as opposed to having to cart around your computer.

Now for this price I was not expecting a whole lot. Overall They are decent chargers but for this price its not bad at all. The wall charger is fine but the usb slot is very loose and tends to fall out very easy. The retractrable usb cord is good but does not always sync on the PC, also is just a bit shorter then the original usb cord and a bit annoying but works fine for the wall charger. The car charger is great! It fits very snug and the usb slot is very tight and wont fall out at all. For the few dollars that I got this for it's not a bad deal at all.
This may sound like a negative review but it's not. Just being honest and I can knock a bargin like this. A wall charger, a retractable usb cord, and a car charger for $4. How can you beat this.?!

Even though my items were not of the costly amount, I still did not receive them. I was promised a certain date and never received the product after waiting almost two months on it. I will never use this company again.
