 Replacement Cable for Sandisk Clip Jan 30, 2010

If you're looking for a quick replacement to the original USB cable used to charge or upload songs onto your Sandisk Clip, this cable does the job. It's just a generic PC USB 2.0 A-B Mini 5-Pin cable non specific to any particular device but it does the job it's supposed to do.

The cord does not plug into the Sandisk Clip 4GBs, despite what the seller says. I will be waiting either for them to send me the right cord or a refund. I am not happy about it. I will be waiting an exchange or a refund.

10ft/3m is unnecessarily long though. The 10 cm cable which is a part of the sansa mp3 player package is more practical than this one. Unfortunately, it is not sold as a separate product.

I had looked locally for this item and had been pointed tima and agin to a universal wire that had six implementations on it. The cost was over $20. I found this unit here and at the price it can not be beat.
It is long enough to wire to the back of pc tower and reach to the desktop very well. Havin this hooked into the system allows me to use the plugin on the monitor for other tings. This works great.

I got this cable to charge my ps3 controllers, however when I plug this cord into the playstation a message comes up that says there is to much power going into the playstation and it can not charge. It did charge a few times but just about everytime I plugged it in it said the same thing. I hooked this usb cord to my pc and the same message came up on the computer. I have bought cheap cords before: HDMI and CAT 6 and have never had any trouble with any of them, however none of those cable were ment to charge a device and I think that is why this usb cord had trouble. So I would recommend getting something with a little more quality to charge your devices because this cord does not do the job and may actually damage your device.
