The first system broke down in 1 day. Its pretty flimsy, poorly built. Save the money and spend it on some other brand.

This was a serious disappointment. The remote only controls basic CD functions. You can not do any radio functions at all. The CD player is stuck in repeat mode no matter what I set it to. There isn't a dimmer on the display. The sound was tinny.
For something that was supposed to be marked down from $100 it was not worth the $40 I paid for it. Save your money and get something better. I am putting this down a lesson ... try it in the store before you buy online!

To be honest I bought this item althought I had read about the others reviews. All of those are so true. This should not be sell by Amazon considering that is a product that don't work. Really low quality, don't perform all its fuctions such as play CD or I can tell you the sound quality is son bad.
I really rate it as zero start. I bought it as a gift and was a big dissapointment. Don't buy, spend your money in any other stuff

needed something inexpensive to put in the kitchen under the cabinet and this fit fine. it has a remote which is nice, but limited in it controls. the sound was ok but not very impressive. it sometimes glitches before starting to play and my wife gets frustrated. since it was not very $$ and since it was the right size, i can not complain much, but overall it could have been better...

I returned this item. I actually wanted to rate it 0 stars but it wouldn't let me!! The radio station is digital and it when it finally did lock in on the station you wanted it wasn't clear. If you tapped the side of the radio the station would change!! Half the time if would tell you No Disc when you had a CD in. When you finally did get the CD to play after a few hours of play the CD would still be spinning but the player would be making a loud clicking sound. It was absolute junk and I couldn't wait to get rid of it. DO NOT buy this item!
