This item is truly a piece of junk. The MyDJ function is a great idea, but every time I tried to use it (using Windows Media Player) my computer crashed. When on the "shuffle" feature, songs would be repeated - a lot. You'd hear one song, hear another one, and then be back to the one you just heard; skip past it and hear it again 3 songs later. Customer service told me to reselect Shuffle (I did that repeatedly, it made no difference). Within 1 month, the battery needed charging after only 6 hours of use. And now the final insult is that after 3 months of ownership, it started warbling (like a scratched record) and then died...permanently. Seriously, an absolute waste of money. Very disappointing. We bought this during our last visit to the States and are back in the Caribbean. There is no way to return this for a refund or repair. Annoying.

The battery doesn't hold a charge for very long. This was the case right from the first time I used it after fully charging. The shuffle is not randomized very well. You hear the same songs frequently, even with a full drive. Save your money and buy a real MP3 player.

This player is a disaster.
Took me 1 hour to figure out how to copy files into it (I am not bad with electronics). The player was half full, while I was able to find only 1 song on it.
The next day it would not start. Returned the player to the store with pleasure.
