| | Description | 100% Guaranteed to Work If you've already have a nice 3.5mm headset, why buy another expensive headset for your telephone? Just buy the Headset Buddy and save yourself money! Just plug in the phone headset adapter and use your existing phone headset with a 3.5mm mic/audio plug on your 2.5mm phone jack. Works with headsets with a 3.5mm plug and converts to a 2.5mm phone jack. Specs: Convert your phone headset with a 3.5mm plug to the 2.5mm plug on your smartphone. Female 3.5mm Mic/Audio to Male 2.5mm Mic/Audio. Because most 2.5mm headsets are mono channel, this adapter will only output mono channel. When using this adapter to plug into a device with stereo sound and a 2.5mm jack, you can get mono sound in both ears, but not stereo. | |

Works Great! (Smart Phone to Panasonic Wireless 5.8 GHz House Phones) Jan 10, 2012

This product works great for being able to use my iPhone ear buds ( 3.5mm) to my home land line phones, which are Panasonic 5.8GHz wireless phones ( 2.5mm). The typical ear buds for most smart phones come with the 3.5mm plug with three rings, which I suspect is for stereo. The Headset buddy male plug (2,5mm) has only two rings, which I am guessing is what is needed for standard voice, non-stereo send and receive. Anyway, it works! Nice short cord so it does not add wire to the headset or hear bud cord length. Price was good at $8.95 with Amazon Price (no shipping).
I tried a similar adapter from Radio Shack that did not work. I could hear incoming voice, but the person on the other end could not hear my voice. It only worked one way. It cost $10.00 plus tax, so the Headset Buddy is definitely a fair deal with no shipping costs. This product was delivered in less than 48 hours!

By Exalted Barley This product has proven to be fantiastic and just what I was hoping for. It allows me to use my LG envy 3 with skull candy stereo headphone with a microphone.

Works Fine for Us Dec 19, 2011
By UTA Based on other reviews, we were not sure if this would work. We wanted this adapter to use a Native Union Moshi Headset (3.5 mm male) with a UTStarcom Shuttle cell phone (2.5 mm female). The only problem was that to get the adapter to plug all the way into the phone and stay there, we had to use a razor blade to trim away (taper) the rubber coating on the male end of the adapter because the area around the connector hole on the cell phone does not provide much clearance. The headset works fine.

Does what I need it to do. Nov 29, 2011
By Archangel5884 I bought this headset adapter to use with my J4M headset from Jlabs for use on Xbox live. Does exactly what I need it to do. the Male end of the adapter is a little small to use on my xbox controller, but, it still makes the connection and still functions.

Headust Buddy Review Jun 13, 2011
By Radha Buying a product online is always a risk. I bought this product for my phone and it caused problems on it. When inserted into the phone (I have an LG Chocolate VX8550) the voice command would automatically turn on and the music would shut off. If it wasn't the voice command, the phone would dial the previous number dialed and while listening to music, I'd here it dialing. Needless to say this product did not work well. I also tried the simple stereo jack and that only allowed music in one headphone rather than both buds. My solution to not spending money on an iPod did not work.
