With a built in modulator i can play through my car speakers...that's so RAD!...it's nothing like my last, i didn't have the proper understanding with this type device till now and how important this feature is. Thankfully, i relied on my fathers experience...i luv..my new best friend.

I bought this searching for a dock for Ipad2. I guess that the connection is not optimized for this device because it is always needing constant pressure (ie physical force) to keep it connected during bumpy roads. My daughters Ipod Nano worked well on that note. The rubber bumpers on the back melted off in 90 degree weather and I had it sitting in my cup holder and when I closed it the USB connector was pinched and cracked. I'd like to return it soon

Pros:
Charges Ipad 2.
Base is quite surdy.
Excellent Suction Cup design.
5v /2a adapter actually does its rated voltage.
Cos:
Power adapter broke when plugging into the base, for the first time. Very Poor soldering.
Charging an external device using the usb port, does not function. The usb port only puts out 5v 150ma! Regardless if something is in the apple port/dock. Its supposed to be 500ma. So almost 1/5 of its rated power. The apple port/dock does work. An att razer, while off, went from 1% to 4% in 5 a hour drive. Pretty poor.
the apple port/dock does not seat devices properly. Your iProduct will constantly come unplugged. meaning you loose charging, and fm transmission. I found that some heavy rubber bands fixed the issue.
The handles on the base to not hold anything. Instead they keep your 600 device from falling forward, towards you. Not staying in place. Meaning if you hit a bump your smaller idevice will go flying.
misc:
if you buy this product you will need another charger, because it will not charge your other usb devices.
Get some heavy duty rubber bands. To fix the iProduct slipping in and out.
I would not purchase again.

I got this gift from my daughter it is an early Mother's day gift.She bought it online last week and had it shipped to me. It came very fast. This is simple to use and set up. I use this to charge my iPad, I can also play my favorite songs wherever I go now. It stays snug in base and doesn't move around at all.This is a great mother's day gift. I am so pleased.

Everything has worked well for the most part. Transmitting between FM channels could be a little better, but it does work, and i'v yet to find a FM transmitter that was perfect. As far as the docking charger and MP features, good working order, nice visually. The goose-neck design gives nice adjustment. nice product.
