I bought two of these. One for myself and one as a gift for new parents. I love it and they love it more. He never leaves the house without it. Great for catching all of those parental moments you might normally miss with a growing child. I love it for everyday stupid stuff like taping people in the grocery store with toilet paper stuck on their shoe. It's very easy to upload to youtube also. It's very easy to use. The battery lasts super long too. I would recommend it to anybody. It's obviously not the best one on the market but for the price and what most people would use it for it's awesome and well worth the money.

After reading the reviews I purchased this for my husband (and our family). We wanted a video option that we could slide into pockets and purses to catch quick videos. We are very happy. The video quality is very good (for a pocket camera it's awesome) and it's easy to charge in any computer at home or at friends when you forget to charge it because it's been sitting in your purse for ages. Though we have not used it a huge amount the battery life so far has been good and we have no complants. We would recommend this camera if your purpose is a quick and easy way to catch your fun life moments. It is very easy to upload to the computer.

$37, most basic camera available. seems a 'decent' build although on the 'disposable' side. no features - just point and shoot. Charges via USB cable. very poor audio quality.too large for 'covert' use however, because of size, fits well in hand. no motion detection.

I just wanted to clarify, since it isn't clear from the title of the item [though the description is correct], that this is the Creative Vado HD 2nd Generation camcorder in matte black. (From Exclusively Red Label via Amazon).
Otherwise, I'll be succinct and say that this is a great device. I'm pretty sure you can't find another new videocamera capable of shooting in 720p for this price (forty-three). It works exactly as stated and is very simple to use.
It even comes with an HDMI cable so that you can hook it up directly to your TV and directly stream the videos you captured. Plus, the included software makes editing videos [on a basic level] very simple.
