Skull candy med earbud replacement May 12, 2010

Just a little bit bigger than stock skullcandy earbuds but seem to fit tighter on the speaker so hopefully i wont lose them as fast as i lost the originals.

I use relatively cheap headphones, Skull Candy Ink'd because I tend to break them eventually when I use them at the gym. Since I leave the headphones in my gym bag, the earbuds fall off every so often. Instead of having to buy a new pair of headphones because the other size buds that come along don't fit, I might as well buy the right sized buds. I keep a couple of these in my gym bag, so that I don't have to the gym without music again (unless I lose my iPod).

These are nothing special. I ordered these to replace one of my missing earbuds on my Skullcandy headphone, and they worked. They are a bit shorter than the original Skullcandy earbuds, but they are the same size in your ear. Also, they have a tighter fit around the headphones, which keeps them securely attached to the headphones. They're soft, you get 5 pairs of earbuds, and its cheap.

I purchased these after I lost one of the original ear pieces for my Sony headphones.
These fit, but are thinner than the originals and the "ear side" opening is quite a bit larger, which makes them tilt around. The originals do fit better - they are thicker, and the "ear opening" is designed to fit perfectly over the actual headphone end, so they stay rock solid.
However Sony sells a packet of small, medium, large, etc sizes for $9+ shipping.
These ear pieces might not be the same quality, but they fit well enough and are way cheaper. Plus you get 10 of them.
Overall I don't regret buying them, they are comfortable and work fine.
Had to take 1 star off, since they are not perfect due to the quality issues I described earlier. Think of it as 3 stars for workmanship and 5 starts for usability.

These work with my Griffin earbuds, but compared to the Griffin silicon originals, these are a little flimsy. When I put them on the earbud, they get pushed further down onto the earbud's stem, so I'm a little worried the hard plastic of the earbud might go too deep into my ear canal. Also, the original Griffin medium sized tips were a little bit larger and thicker, giving them a good feel inside my ear compared to these.
